The Sandhills Area Entertainment Corporation is a Nebraska non-profit group made up of community volunteers to operate the Royal Theater. We consist of a board of up to 10 members, three of which are high school students. We meet once a month. We elect new board members and members may vote on any other issues we may have as well as discuss how our current year has gone. We collect membership dues and any donations at that time as well as any time throughout the year. We are always looking for volunteers: board members, projectionists, weekend crews, and cleaning crews. Click here to see Officer and Committee Duties Volunteers: All projectionists and weekend volunteers (including substitutes) receive free pop and popcorn and get to see the movie on their weekend. Cleaning crews and maintenance workers receive coupons for a free pass, pop, and popcorn.
